Hi everybody
I recently bought my first car (although I am off my P plates in a month lol), a 2005 falcon XR6 which was cheap as chips. It has 102k and is in really good condition well sort-of... The reason it was so cheap is because it is like half a coke-can off the ground. the left side-skirt is missing and the front and rear bumpers are scratched up a bit underneath because its so low. Other than the damaged cosmetic stuff it is in great condition. There's no rust or damage to the body at all, the mechanic I took it to said he has never seen such a clean engine on a falcon before. It also comes with logs and reciepts showing it was serviced at least every 5000kms since new!

The previous owner gave me a list of things he did to it which was..

- V8 bonnet.
- 17" BA MkI XR rims
- Removed Spoiler
- ipod connection
- Blue interior LEDs.
- 12" Sub.
- Amp
- Cold air intake
- Air filter
- 20% Underdriver pulley
- Cat-back Exhaust
- Lowered
- BF XR6 LSD Diff
- BF CV's

it was also optioned with
-4sp Sequential Sports Shift
-LSD Diff
-Rear power windows
-Premium audio
-Side airbags

The previous owner also gave me the original springs, spoiler and exhaust.
I plan on putting the standard exhaust back on (although he dropped a muffler, so it is going to be louder regardless of what exhaust I have on). I have bought a set of king springs to lift my car up around 1.5" above standard height because I will be using this car for highway / country driving... The way it is now, I struggle to go up driveways. would also like to put on some spot-lights eventually.

I thought this would be the best place to get advice on how to get some of this done. Also I will be selling some of the stuff I take off here if anybody is interested in buying parts...

MS.

Well not that anybody cares but I needed to write this out so it can be crossed off one-by-one. There are no really hard-core modifications or anything but for anybody that is interested in a practical country build, here is the plan so far...

X Uniden scanner (already have the police freq for my area on it) - done
- Lifted 1 1/2 - 2" on kingsprings
- Standard exhaust installed (will be louder because it has a muffler removed)
- Tow-bar (second hand from wreckers... or ebay)
- ECB type 8 Bullbar
..........Image
- 2x spotlights probably lightforce (see picture above)
- 1x 10" LED floodlight bar (installed where the square driving lights are on the picture above)
..........Image
- 2x 3" Dually floodlights (far left & right on 20' outward angle)
..........Image
- Uniden two way UHF + bullbar mounted antennea
..........Image
- 2x 40cm Window mounted radio antenneas (works way better than the standard one)
- 'speedflip' licence plate flipper
..........Image
- When I get around to it, I have a small square driving light I will be installing around the boot area facing backwards. (possibly to flash off thoes speeding tail-gaters from the city who sit waaayyy too close behind me).
