ok el conventional brakes to abs.how do i go doing that.any thoughts.i guess i just need modulators, wheel spp
eed sensors , other sensors ,new brake lines and a computer.so i dont know if.the looms there?, were an abs computer goes and am i better off with an aftermarket kit or a genuine ford one

you will probably need to change the rotors so you have the ring inside the rotor that the wheel speed sensor picks up, then the speed sensors, then the thing that sits inside the passenger side front bumper area that controls the abs, and the wiring loom for it, my el doesnt have abs but it has the wiring there for the wheel speed sensors already so you might be lucky there

not to mention brake lines and abs rear axles..

not wort the hasle imo.... i would prefer non abs in e series...

s**t i did this years back to happy's car
and uglybob helped too

u will need a complete loom for the car
as the wiring for the rear sensors is not in base model loom

then rear axles, front rotors, all the sensors
the abs unit
new ecu ( i think )
iirc u need a high series bem as well?
new brake lines

and about a days work
there is some stuff i think im missing but hell it was like 8yrs ago when i did this
