Hey all, ive been browsing the forums for some time now but i only just joined today, I own a 1999 Au fairmont Ghia, i was looking at putting some work into it early next year. I'm curious as to how you guys woukd put around 5-10k into the car? i've already got it lowered, sound systems done, full exhaust system, it's done around 230k, Living in WA makes it hard to find parts locally, but yeah, thoughts and opinions would be great

Forced induction is your answer, also improving the driveline, if you wanted to stay Auto, get the box built or put a C4 in there, get your diff overhauled add and LSD if you don't already have one. That would have chewed through most of the 10k, but it would be done correctly. Speak to the guys at BPT but I am sure there are plenty of WA boys that can direct you to a workshop if you want someone to do it for you.
Look at 6 boost manifolds, or talk to Geoff from Snort performance.

Thanks for all that mate, i was looking at turbo's earlier, but i've been told they can start to get really expensive down the track so i kind of steered away from them. I've already got an LSD, thankfully. I still have a while to plan it all out, so every little bit of advice is great |
