hi guys, just wondering if there is any difference in performance between a regrind cam, too a billet? im looking at a wade 977b cam regrind is there another equivelant from a different brand? any advice appreciated

there is no difference in performance from a regrind to a billet.
a regring is a factory cam that has be ground to change the characteristics of the cam, the only downfall is with a regrind you need to add an extra shim to each hla in the rocker arm to make up for what was ground from the original cam.

where a billet is a new full size cam that is machined down from a blank cam, same characteristics as the regring but no extra shims required..
