I want to try to get my old falcon re-registered, it's an XE 351. Back in the day we turfed all the emissions gear.. and a little later we deregistered it, worst decision ever, kids don't ever de-register a car you love, sell it or keep it, deregistering hurts too much. So anyway I guess I'm probably going to need to find a new set of emissions gear for the roady.

Can you guys help me put together a list of bits that I need. Does anyone on here have such a kit they might be willing to loan?

Thanks guys,
Mik.

Maybe your onto something, I remember a lot of talk about it, but it was 6 years ago when I took this car off the road, and a few years before that I tosed the original carbi etc. Can someone confirm this?

EGR plate will be hard to find, but their out there. Having PVS fittings connected correctly and in working order is important for distributor advance. You will also need a throttle solenoid positioner, which sets throttle upon start up, and prevents "Dieseling" when motor is turned off. Also if you don't have the original exhaust manifolds, you may want to find a set with the auto choke hot air tubes and hot air uptake manifold for the aircleaner.
