Hi guys
my 1994 EF 4.0 auto has devoloped a starting problem & that problem is some times when I go to start it, I have all ignition lights & such but dont seem to have power going to starter motor but I hear clicking noise behind the dash & have to leave car for a while then try again later to start it witch seems to work? this problem seems to happen at any temp even cold

Try holding the key over to the 'start' position while giving the lower dash just above your left knee a thump. If the car starts then, you have a dry joint in the B.E.M. (Body Electrics Module, controls lighting, variable wipers, smartlock etc..). Is becoming a common issue with these cars as they age.
Can be repaired but it's easier to replace the whole unit.

at least I know what the problem is & how to fix it.
