ED falcon speedo not working.. have replaced the sender on the box, tried a different cluster, checked all wiring and fuses,
cannot work this out, as i suspect its also causing the trans to be stuck in limp home mode... and ideas?? |

have you done a continuity test on the wires? could be a break in them somewhere, id even pull the speed sender back out and see if the gear on the output shaft is in good condition?
definately does sound weird though, hope this helps, Cheers, Tomo

Did you find out the issue with you Speedo Yet? We have just had the same happen to ours. Checked all fuses, switches, change speedo sensor and instrument cluster no luck

check the connector up at the firewall, and also check the worm drive on the trans output shaft (ie remove the sender and look into the ext housing with a torch) to make sure its not stripped

weird mine stoped working as well. the temperture gauge and the oil pressure gauge isnt working to. i Wonder if a auto electrician could fix it
