hey all my tbar auto light lights up well but the n and the d both do not light up properly like there is dirt under it not letting light thro or is this scratched damaged underneath
the n is blue whilst the d is white altho the n has some blue in some places kinda looks like a clear green color and the d lights up except for lil areas where its black
is there a solution to this problem other than replacing it? like could i modify it some way make the letters light up again ? or do i have to live with it
any help would b great

easiest way is just removing and seeing if it's just dirty, set in in nuetral, unscrew the bolt under the shifter, then twist the shifter off it's thread, can't remember whether clockwise or anti-clockwise, but simple enough when you look at it, then lift off via scredriver around the surround, just clips holding it down.
worst case of changing, then it'll be ready to swap then and there. lol.
searching auto shifter removal should find some results i recon.

could even chuck in a new t10 led or regular bulb while your at it for some new color and improved light spread.

thanks im hoping its only dirty i just got brought this t bar selector as its been painted woodgrain effect if its not dirty then i have to live with it
