will a stock explorer plenum bolt straight up to the lower elderbrock manifold to give the engine a stock look? also will it fit onto the EGR\ throttle body

it should fit the lower manifold?
Why wont it fit the throttle body?

An Explorer upper won't fit an Edelbrock lower.
The throttle body will bolt onto the Explorer upper. Of course, as I said before, the stock 65 or 70mm t-body will give better performance so you may aswell use the stock t-body.

is it a different stud pattern or different size all together because i just need it to bolt on to get the defect off.
i cant find an au manifold anywere do u think an ef or el should be fine to use?

It's all completely different, port size, shape, arrangement and bolt pattern....I wouldn't say you can't bolt it on if you could.
A std EB-L HO intake will be acceptable but, if you go to a different inspection centre after you've ground off Edelbrock and put one of those stupid plastic covers that some of those cars had you'll probably find it'll pass....they're dumber than dumb.

ok cheers for that mate i think ive scored me an 185 kw el manifold r they still the explorer ones? ill put it on anyways at least it will look stock
