Just letting people know if you wanna put an fg motor to an ef/ef you can use an ba sump on the engine as you can only buy fg short motors from ford now, even if you ask for an ba, its an fg motor form ford.

just wanting to add to this is that the new FG blocks have the dipstick casting hole at the rear of the block, as the eariler FG blocks had it at the front same as the BA-BF so there is no room to drill at the front of the block to reposition the dipstick tube you have to improvise & recalibrate the tube in its new position & to ad to that you have to use the B series windage tray as the FG one fouls the B series sump plus there are a few other minor things that needs to be modified but nothing to worry about...
