i have a 96 EF fairmont, the issue is it has a rough idol and rpm
so i pulled the leads and plugs out to check them their all ok

when running if you pull number 6 lead off their is no difference in rpm or note
their is a healthy spark going through the plugs and they are fairly new plugs
their is no oil issues or water issues, i dont have a compression tester to test compression but i dont think its that, it was driving fine and then pulled up at the lights and it was rough,

i removed and replaced number 6 injector but that didnt help the issue

what should be my next step of things to check,

ok guys dont worry about it, i threw in my EF auto ecu which was the original as i had done a manual conversion years ago

and low and behold, manual ecu down anyway to get these things repaird or reprogrammed??
i dont want to be running around on the auto ecu for too long
