In the process of purchasing this tidy 84' XE with very little rust to give me something to tinker with and put a v8 in :D :D
will hopefully get it on club reg, get it on straight gas to dodge all that emission crap... Will be purely and simply be a weekend cruiser...

no i dont think it has been restored! pretty sure it was an old blokes car for the majority of its life. a few expected dents and paint chips here and there...

The 302c I got my hands on was just sitting on the edge of a carport with the intake manifold sitting loose for a year and a half. So I took the heads off to inspect the damage, better than I expected! There is a small amount of surface rust in some of the bores which will hopefully come out with a hone if I decide to keep it a 302. From what I was told it came out of a 79' F100.

Not bad for $100 and a bolt kit!

I have an XD wagon S-PAC lined up. Has a running 302, c4, Limited slip diff, disc rear brakes, full gas system with a tank that was stamped two years ago and "15x9" steelies on the rear for that Nice tough look. :-D all for $500!

This will be my donor car as there is too much rust in the body.

Also,

ef, el brake booster.

do they fit and is it worth it? when the disk setup is in im thinking about upgrading the xe's brakes.

302c, c4?, full gas system, 15x7 or 6? fronts, 15x9 rears. Runs like a dream. Such a shame the body has so much rust in it... But quite stoked!

Finally got the XD in the shed to start stripping it down.

I'm having a bit of a dilemma on how I'm going to setup my carby on my 302 clevo. I purchased a custom twin LPG setup with a quadrajet baseplate and came with a spread to square bore adapter. Now my issue is how I'm going to hook up the throttle and the kickdown for the c10 behind it. I'm just test fitting to see what I'm up against.

i am considering a lokar throttle and kickdown kit and modify the primary throttle bracket to suit.

The kit I'm looking at.

All suggestions welcome.
