As far as I know smartlock came out september 92, as I had a august 92 xr6 presmartlock.
Had central locking but no keyless entry

you're like me and have a 06/94 ED with a spastic sanden compressor mutant 3305 - can't use the ea/eb one or the ef/el one - it is also the most expensive compressor to buy at $695 - a guy in Rocky reconditions them for $300 but have been advised not to go reco although he gives 12 mths warranty like a new sanden gives - i am looking at going serpentine and using the a/c and p/s of an ef/el setup anyway so that solves my probs.
