hey, i got a problem with the falcon, the d***head that did the brakes screwed sumtin up, its grabbing to much at the back, so whenever u pull up in a hurry the back wheels are taking mosta the strain, which naturally means it takes longer to stop
i also found the wet weather to be a b**ch, the car is pathetic for stopping in the wet, but it slips all over the road easy enough.

i spun the wheels 6 times today, only meant to do it twice, but i spose its cos the motors running well again since i fixed it up.

now the point of this was to ask if anyonw knows how to adjust the brakes on an el falcon, more to the point, put em to the front.

also, it wont to standstill burnouts, cos the brakes are to the back, weve had the brakes done a few times before, but until this time, its always done em.

anyway mechanics and maniacs alike, i come to you for assistance!!!, thanks!!!!

your brake bias is set from the factory and is not adjustable at all.
so your going to just have to take it back and have them looked at

You might want to think about better tires...
As ffar as I remembver there set at 70% front 30% back from the factory.
Did you maybe have your handbrake still pulled up?

brake bios is preset in that unit other wise get it fixed as i think that the proportioning valve is stuck internaly

yeah, the tires are firehawks. they are the best tyres weve had on it, in the dry they stick to the road damn well, and in the wet the stick really well aswell, the car pulled up awesome in the wet before they played with the brakes, now its s**t.

also, the tyres are kewl, cos they grip really well, but put them under power in the wet, and they spin as easy as piss, i love em lol.

ill check the master brake cylinder, and ill try and get her spinning again, maybe cos the car was performing bad, and the power lacks a lil at low rpm, maybe it will do em again!!!

well they did the front discs and pads, and 4 new tyres(the same as the previous firestone)

then later they replaced the rear pads, now we have all 4 new sets of pads, and the discs are well within limits, theyre almost new lol, uh, yeah, it was after they changed the rear pads it started to screw up.
we also have all bendix pads, and theyre better than the other pads we had.

they said we have to break harder cos they were glazing over, so now we brake harder all the time, but not hard enough to warrant screwing discs or anything.

mmm, dont know, ill try again l8r.
