Hey guys
Alright i have a 220 AUII XR8, about 2,000ks ago i changed the fuel pump, the fuel filter, the oxy sensors and had the tank cleaned... ever since then under load and everyday acceleration its looseing fuel presure for about half a second n then it picks back up again, we hooked up a fuel pressure gauge, when it does it, the kpa drops from around 400 down to 50 then pops strait back up to 400, iv re-changed the pump, the filter and i changed the relay just incase... unless anyone has any other ideas, only the sensors or maybe there is some dirt in the tank since they are the only other things that got done that day. any help or suggestions would be awsome.

My mechanic dosent think the regulator would drop and pick up pressure so quickly, but its worth checking out

other then the pump being able to flow enough, the only thing that controls fuel pressure is the regulator...

If the mech didnt clean the tank properly an there was s**t left in it that had been stired up, would that possibly cause it if the dirt is causeing a blockage in the line? Or if it was getting to the injector? I drained the filter backwards and there was s**t all through it...?

Check your hard fuel lines for dents or check for kinks in the soft lines. Also check you haven't sprung a leak inside the the tank.
