get the gas tuned. come to think of it, that engine commonly burns exhaust valves.
But get it looked at by some one that knows what they are doing. |

It will show up as low compression on the effected cylinders.
A leak down test would show you where there is any major leakage. Still the first step is get the gas tuned and make sure the mixer is not under sized. |

Tickford 6 is correct , we had 3 of them as company vehicles, it got to the point where they were running at idle like they had a top fueler cam in them . Would shake the whole car on its springs . Funniest thing was that idle on a hot day with the AC on, you would be driving along and the Ac would be Cool then when you pulled up at the lights it would start pumping hot air like the heater was on . It was hilarious, (mainly because I didnt have to drive them day in and out ) All 3 of them needed rebuilt heads after 100,000 k's seats were f**k in all of them.

They are also known for sticking oil pressure relief valves....either full open or full shut.
Full open, they would rattle their heads off, and full shut, would blow the seal out on the oil filter. The 94 models would blow the alloy plugs out of the head under the cam, and fill the sump with coolant......was a recall on them......had to add more punch marks ( peen ) around the plugs as well as puting Loctite 290 Super Wick-in around them too.
