bry40l wrote: waits for swc lol Thank you sir...... Now young Mitchell....you do realise that the E series Rear bar and the BA/BF rear are two different shapes don't you....... . If you had done your research you would have picked up the EF/EL kit and you wouldn't have 1/2 these issues or a 1/4 of what this is going to cost you. It can be done but the rear is much much harder than the front and I can see how well you are going with the front. Have you completed the front yet? If you have do your side skirts next so you can get the lines right, then do the rear. With the rear, trim the top off the B series bar leaving as much surface as possible. then slip it over the EL rear while it is still on the car and pop a couple of screws into it when it looks right. You will need to cut your tail pipe off as it will interfere with the new bar. Exhaust oulet is closer to the outside than the B series. Why Why Why did you not buy the E series kit... and don't give me the crap about you wanting a challenge..... |

Even though the author of the above is currently going through a bout of senility, I will agree with this comment from him. Just get the correct bar... Attachment: This is the one from newgel. Straight fit, modifications needed for alignment etc. being one piece means that there is no join that may cause you grief further down the track The tail section of the exhaust did need to be modified, as the exhaust exits a few inches closer to the centre of the car.
