You'll need a t5 wedge smd blue led can be found in eBay . Take out the glass globe and replace it with the blue smd led .
Then take out the orange filter in the trip computer and put in white paper These one http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com.au/viewi ... 7717279260

Don't you have to re-solder the trip computer?

Nah I never did , it has two bulb holders in the Back , same as the dash .
Put in the ones I linked up and take out the orange filter and put in white paper , or blue . Your thinking of the air con controls , it's bulbs are soldered in

U have to put in white ef needles or use nail polish remover to take off the orange on ya el needles .
1 remove dash 2 push trip computer out of dash , disconnect wires 3 using a flat blade screw driver , be gentle and pop the trip computer apart , 4 Then there will be screws inside , take them out to get to the filter . 5 put in paper filter 6 out in blue LEDs , u may have to twist them around a few times as they only light up one way

A4 paper . Normal printing paper.
Or a thin piece of blue transparent plastic would be good, but paper is fine .

You will also need good LEDs .
I went back to stock lighting as I tried many LEDs and was never happy , I couldn't get the trip comp to light up properly , Search didn't light up but the others did . Get a blue filter , if you can find one , that will work best
