Hey guys,

Just need confirmation on tail shaft length and sizing.

Currently going to do a manual t5 conversion on my AU2 sedan live rear axle and was wondering if the tail shaft from the auto will fit the T5 gear box or will I have to search for a manual one from a wrecker?

I need 100% confirmation on this please.

Dansedgli confirmed I will need to look for a manual shaft from somewhere. Are they rare?

they are a little hard to come by, most sell them with the conversion. worse case is getting the auto one shortened...

I have a full alloy XR6 tail shaft with balancer from a ute. If I get anything shortened, it will be this one. I'm gonna try my luck with the wreckers first.
