Had alot of problems with this car. First started to drink stupid amounts of fuel and go no where. since has gotten alot worse blowing black carbon out the exhaust and alot of it! Had the car scanned at 3 diffrent workshops with no luck. the car was not in limp home mode. Have replaced the coils and plugs because of 2 of them being cracked. The fuel filter has also been replaced.

Have replaced the tps sensor. still no luck. The car has had a flash tune with the X3 since removed the tune and put back to stock. STILL no luck. Wants to stall when the A/C is on or even pulling up to brake. Will only blow a cloud of carbon out over 3000 rpm. The car is not using any oil or coolant.

Did the 3 workshops give you a list of fault codes that come up? or no codes stored at all?

them clouds arent carbon is it unburnt fuel.
change your oxy and map sensors.

The oxy sensor behind the cat is permantly turned off as from the tune. The map sensor?? Havnt tried that yet. The workshops didn't show anything. Which was very disappointing.

what about the o2 sensor in front of the cat????

i have got a ba xr6t engine sitting in the shed would the map sensor and o2 sensor be the same or completely diffrent. being that time of the year when everythings shut... need to get the car up and running properly..
