Merry Christmas Fordies - I need help for my present.

Off the TFI module some clown has stripped back part of the Pink/Blue stripe wire and has twisted red solid wire which they have just left hanging and tied it up against the throttle body. I have seen this in a ED V8 Fairmont as well. What where they trying to achieve and will that be my problem now it wont start anymore.

Gee thats a bit odd, wonder what the point of that is.
So the red wire just ends no where?
Has it always been just hanging or has it popped off another wire?
What's you're car doing when you say won't start.

Tacho - Thought something the same. So would they use it to hook up an external tacho for tuning purposes instead hooking up to the back of the coil ??? Lazy pricks. I have removed wire and got blck leccy tape over it.

Checked spark with screwdriver and plug and there is a spark although faint. Tried some mower fuel down the spark plug hole and nothing. Will put 10 litres of fresh fuel in tank. How is the best way to drain the old fuel out ???
