hi guys,
currently doing a engine conversion in my eb. im changing from eb engine to 96 el engine complete.
ive followed the bbm instructions off fordmods but i noticed on the el engine the is one extra white round plug like the air temp sensor on the bbm.
does anyone know what its for? as im stuck at the moment cause theres no wires for it on the eb loom.

any help or information will be muchly appreciated.
thanks
Daniel

the plug is actually on the engine about 10-20 cms in from the flywheel.
as ive read the bbm conversion thread but its not based on engine swap.
ive got the plug for the manifold sensor but wasnt sure what this one is on the block.

thats the knock sensor... dont worry about it, the eb dont have the feature in its ecu..
if your using the el ecu, you can add the extra wires to hook it up if you want? but i ran my old engine without a knock sensor with no problems...

ok guys now im stuck again.
does anyone know where i can find the order of the vacuum lines for the vac solenoid?
as the engine came from interstate and they cut half the wires off.
ive got the vac solenoid switch and the vac hoses from a mate but unsure what order they go.
as i also noticed there a green hose and a blue hose from my firewall behind the washer bottle.
anyhelp would be much appreciated.
thanks in advance
Daniel
