just put in a new extra heavy duty exceedy cluth into my old boys au xr8 series 3 , and noticed some winding and shimming noises , particulary between 0-60kms, checked oil levels in diff and gearbox , and was basically told thats the way it is , just wondering if it will ever settle down ??? cheers

Yeah there a bit bigger than standard and a bit of noise is normal, mine dose the same!
