Everyday i start the car. Let it run on idle for a minute then leave. When i touch the accelerator in drive (D). It nearly stalls. And everytime i turn the car off and on it says on screen "CODE". And i have to push on. Like it resets everytime. And if i leave the car for 2 days without turning on it only just turns over. I dont know what the problem is and ford dosnt have a clue

And when it sits idling it goes down to 500rpm and bounces up to 750rpm every 15 seconds or so and nearly starts to conk out.

I had the same issue with the stalling but no code on screen as i just got the basic cd player where it doesnt actually need a code.

Have you tried resetting the ecu? disconnect the battery for about 20 mins, then connect back up and take it for a at least a 20 min drive at various speeds. Your battery might be on the way out as well? When was it last replaced?

This is the basic falcon xls 1 ton. Has very basic cd player. And battery was replaced 6 months ago.
