Hello All,
So I'm pretty sure my trans is on the way out as there is a nasty noise in 1st. However tonight it has got stuck into gear and from what i read is most likely in limp mode. And from some further reasearch i read that the issues ive been having Not going into drive or reverse straight away ect... May be solenoids? If this is true, can i do that myself? Otherwise Im still looking for a 4sp Trans for a I6 BA, so if anyone has one or knows where i can get one please advice. Thanks Guys!

Easy to tell if it goes into limp mode... if in drive the D flashes on the cluster.

Went to a mechanic today,
It was in limp mode but is now out of it. But it is also stuck in 2nd because of a some piece (can't remember what mechanic told me now -_-) not letting it change gears. Apparently a common issue with these models :'( I'm up for a recondition or swap out
