It doesn't matter with EB/ED/EF/EL/AU I about training keys, they have no computer chip in them.

Get some Powdered graphite, put it on the key and then try. Not all key cutting machines make good copies.

i have similar trouble with my new keys for my eb they just need wearing in mine feel as though they get stuck in the ignition key hole, i used some graphite powder (messy stuff) in the ignition key and some wd40 got sprayed down the door key locks. after 3 months of hard keys they are worn in a little and there is a very noticeable difference when takeing the keys out.

There is no chip in the key, if it turns the ignition barrell it will work, If a screwdriver could turn the barrel it would work, if it's not starting you have other issues that are completely unrelated to the key.....ie; your battery is flat, no spark, crook starter motor etc.

Yep yep.

To the original poster

EB didnt have smartlock so should start but going by what you stating that only opened the drivers side, then possibly flat battery as SWC stated also.

Do you have a flat battery?

only eb1 doesnt have smartlock eb2 does, but as already mentioned there is no transponder in the key so if it turns the ignition it should work, otherwise you have other issues, eg flat battery?
