I have read somewhere that there are differences between the series 1 - 3 non vct AU heads. Reason I ask is I have a bent exhaust valve on my ticky head. I know the xr and non xr have the same valve sizes, so can I get a valve off any non-vct series au head? If there are any differences between them, what are the part numbers for the heads?

Cheers

74 bucks NZ from ripco, a bit cheaper from the guys who are doing my engine work but I can get an au head for $50, which I would like for all the valves and the proper spring retainers, as mine had to mangled for the new springs. So just want to make sure its all compatable.

Cheers though bud.

EL hybrid/AU exhaust valves are all the same between models. Lol @ Repco pricing, don't even bother with them when it comes to engine parts.

Go through STA Parts and save yourself some money

You'll import them from here for less that.
But yeah all that sort of stuff will interchange between AU heads.

I can get custom made servere duty Manley valves for half what they are wanting for stock replacement stuff. I know your dollar sucks, but it doesn't suck that hard.

Holy s**t kwik a $10 valve that is mint! I wish I had known about that store earlier..Thanks mate

You are right tickford, our dollar sucks trying to import from you guys, but its still cheaper than buying the stuff out here. Ford genuine parts have a 100% markup it seems.

+1 on STA Parts - best price, service and quality in NZ. You're basically paying wholesale price. I get my Royal Purple oil and Ford Racing oil filters there (among other things).
