Put either 95 or 98 in it and stay clear of the e10, e10 is only designed for cars 1988 an onword, but still s**t stuff

If the car was sold after 1 january 1986, it will be unleaded.

Alloy head = unleaded.
I think XE was the last of the falcons that some needed leaded.. Or might have even ended at the end of the XD.

will run unleaded, i had xf motor with c1 head fitted in my xd and ran unleaded but had to run 98 unleaded as the c1 and c2 heads are higher compression
check between no1 and no2 inlet ports for these numbers |

Bad news is there is not any available anymore. All petrol is now unleaded. No big deal, just use something with an octane rating of 95ish or higher, or get it re-tuned to suit the 91ron that standard unleaded is. As for e10 being s**t - some car's run better on it than others. My EB Ghia has no issues on it. Technically car's that have computers that don't self learn will not run good on it, ie earlier commondoors. Carby car's may not run so well on it, due to requiring a re-tune to the correct afr to run it. I've tuned my mighty boy (1986 carby engine) to run on it and it runs nicely. Cheers ToranaGuy
