hey fellas, quick question!
im building up my el xr6 manual into a bit of a play car, first car event is in 2 weeks time, ive installed a wade 1521a cam, and sounds mint, and goes quite well.
i have a full turbo kit in the shed for it, just wanting to know your thoughts on this idea?
will it be ok with that cam,
its running a minispooled rear end with 4:11 gears, semi slicks etc

will be used mainly as a burnout / drift car. with some motorkana work too.. i know skids etc arent ideal for turbo cars.. but they still make motors hey :P

also my kit doesnt have a fitting for the oil return from turbo. on my old troopy when i turboed it i just took the sump off and welded a fitting to it.. does that mean i need to remove the sump on the falcon too??

any help, ideas would be great as i dont have a huge amount of time to complete it, tuning is not a problem as have acess to a dyno etc

I contacted wade about using a 1521a-114 with a turbo set up and they said it would only work well with high boost like 20 psi

Basically said big cam big boost .

you would definatly need better springs with that cam on a boosted engine

The cam specs are quite mild compared to other higher reving engines..
Fitting a turbo changes cam dynamics...
217 is not alot of duration ...
Depends what you want from your engine???
Compression etc ??
I have 236 / 228 @ 114 LSA on my V8 as an example..
