hi all, i just got myself a xh ute and im wanting to put half decent 6inch speakers in the door,
can i just cut them into the doors or do i need spacers in the doors?
has anyone got pics on what they have done

also can you fit a sub woofer anywhere?

Depending how handy you are you can fit a 10" slimline between the two seats with a custom box.



If not you can fit a jaycar(or similair) 8" active sub under both seats.

I havent done the 6" speaker mod on the xh door trims, Looking at it you will need to space the speaker depending on the magnet size. I've made custom door cards for mine to suit the el dash and from memory I needed to space the speaker about 28mm from the inner steel door skin to clear the glass
