hi all just after some insight i have a ef fairmont which i am slowly doing up its my project i have it booked in to have the windows tinted i am thinking 20% front 5% back doors either 5 or 20 on the back window i have had 20 all round on a previous ef just wondering what ever one has on theres and have they been pulled up by police or knocked back on insurance cheers

Depending on the Colour of the car depends on how dark, i rekon go as dark as legaly can just keep the recipt in the car as proof - altho you can ask them to show evedince with test equitment

In NSW & QLD,I believe that the legal tint level is 35%. I have seen darker and as long as you dont attract attention you should be OK with 20%. Insurance can refuse to payout if you have darker than 35% as it is an illegal tint, therefore the vehicle is unroadworthy.
