how the hec do you tell if a Ef falcon is a series two? i read the rego sticker on the front and it doesnt say anything. It does have an abs sticker on the back window :|

Have a look at your vehicle identification plate in the engine bay.
EF model codes will be 184**
EF II will be 186**

if it has no trans dipstick in the engine bay, then it is a series 2.

If it has the ABS sticker on the back windscreen, then its a Series 2....
Or the rear window has been replaced :?

The other tell tale sign is the Ash tray, and the ciggy lighter.
If the ashtray covers the ciggy lighter, then its a series 1

If the ciggy lighter is accessable with the ashtray closed, then its a series 2.

its got an abs sticker on the back window but the ciggie lighter its hidden behind the flip face ashtray

I can access my ciggy lighter with the ashtray closed, I own an 11/94 EF I. This particular part is so easy to change, it would be the most unreliable part to check.

door moulds is another good one if there flat then its a 1 if they are raised and erounded its a 2, this could of been replaces as well tho

If the boot release button ONLY works with the key in the on position, then its SII. (security feature)
