You wont need new shocks with "Lows" if your shocks are still decent.
When you go "SuperLows" then you'd be looking for new shocks to match in well with the springs.

With lows it is really up to you. You dont *need* new shocks. I fitted shortened shocks with my king lows in the rear and feel it was a good idea.

If you do decide to do shockers as well, if you go to the wreckers and get a spare set of top plates for the front units it means you will have just a swap over instead of using a spring compressor just to remove and reuse the top plates. Very worth while makes job easier and quicker

Both Monroe and KYB list lowered rear shocks for low and superlow, fronts remain the same. I think Pedders have a lowered front shock but its not really needed.

Just had another look at your car in the gallery; my front end is lower than yours when parked - will have to fix it up i think, however looks more even when driving. Altho, using different setup; how do you find speedhumps as im finding them pretty good so far on this lane?

i am happy with my front height its just right, Now the rear has settled its dropped a bit low esp with full fuel/gas. i am considering lifting the back about 25mm to compensate for fuel and stereo.
speed humps ok at the moment, go beached on the driveway of Flippin Pancake formaly Drunken Duck restaurant in the dandys on the weekend, that wasnt fun. I can put up with this for the sake of handeling and looks i think.

Put it on a hoist (or take a corner ridiculously hard) and the extension of the shocks is more than that of the springs, and as the springs are held in by the shocks at full extension, the springs can literally fall out. Hence the reason for shorter "lower" shocks.

the springs cant actually fall out because the shocker goes through the spring, they can certainly move around though but not so bad if you get progressive rate springs that have a longer free length than straight lowered/shorter springs. The rear shocks will bottom out too if lowered shocks arent fitted with lower springs. If you get super lows on the rear a shorter bump stop is needed, either cut down the original or buy shorter ones

Well not fall out completely, but fall out of place is more what i meant.

Also becasue you are running higher rate springs the damping of the original shock is now not enough to control the motion of the spring. Your car will feel bouncy and handling will probabily be worse.
