Hi Fordmodders, just wondering if it is possible to adjust the drive by wire accelerator on my 2010 FG RX6. Has anyone experienced this problem before? It happens that when I push down on the accelerator pedal there is a dead spot at the beginning untill the pedal is pushed down a little further and then all is well.
Any help or advice on this subject will be greatly appreciated!!

Welcome to electronic throttle control. A flash tune is the only way to 'liven' it up that I've heard of. Unless of course it was fine and now it has a problem, in which case could be the mechanism itself. Not generally an electronic problem unless it stops working that I know of.

Thanks low_ryda, maybe I'll go visit my local Ford dealer to see if they can resolve the problem. Only now I have discovered that my two remote keypads have suddenly stopped working......Not my week at all!!
