after 3 consecutive poles lowndes has finally got that elusive race and round win, 2 years after phillip island with fpr. this time it was under green race conditions and easily ahead of current champ ambrose.

ambrose once again in the thick of it with ol big nose but this time it was skaife who moved over on ambrose and stuffed himself up. he also did the same to steven richards in race 2 and stuffed himself again. perfect race for me. ford wins and skaife in the dirt. i still can't see how the barbegello incident was deemed driver error on ambrose part and yet 3 weeks later at eastern ck it is a racing incident. no further action. bout time the media jumped off skaife and realised he is no longer the centre of attention in the sport. hasn't been for 3 years.

ford 1-2 was good last year. hopefuly a ford 1-2-3 for this years championship!!

it's all about the mountain mate - if we can't win that, who gives a s**t about the championship <sigh>

How true. Its been what 8 years now since we last one the only race that matters. I feel it coming on boys. Especially since there is no more Kmart racing. This could be our year. Now which ford driver to actually win at bathurst? Ambrose, to farwell him to NASCAR next year. Or Brad Jones or Glen Seton cause they have both not won yet.
