I know there are many posts on this subject allready and i have used the search feautre but i want to know the answer to my situation

I got offerd a set of 4x 20" Rims off a AU but the offset is wrong as i already know i want to know if i can get a Spacer/Hub adapter ( idk if that means buying AU hubs or not, if so is that doable my car is a non abs btw

Oh and id prefer it to be legal as can be as the local law enforcement have been keeping their eye on me latley and are trying everything they can to get my car off the road, im willing to get a engenieers cert if resonably priced

Any positive feedback will be greatly apreciated

Hub adaptors are illegal
you dont need AU hubs
this would have showed up on your search!

get some E series 20's
even then the pigs will sticker you as no e series came out with 18" afaik... as you are only legally allowed a +2 " increase in rim size

the only way is hub adaptors, unfortunatly not really legal though..

or there is the whole cost and hassle of fitting a au diff and spending 2g on a brake upgrade that converts e series to au offset...
not worth it imo..

You won't get engineering with hub adapters. If you really want 20", go and buy a set in E series offset.

General rule is 1" bigger than largest option wheel fitted and 1" wider than largest option wheel. No modification to the overall track can be made. Whats enforced is different.. and up to the police and their particular attitude on the day.

If you have a crash say bye bye to your insurance because it's an illegal mod

Plenty of people crash with illegal mods and insurance is fine. If it's not the cause of the accident, there's no reason to deny the claim.

Hub adaptors are fine. Illegal, but fine.
Plenty of race categories across the world use them, you just need to make sure you use the right wheel nuts on them.
The ones that I have seen fail have been due to using 1/2" nuts on M12 studs.
