Hello,

My car has started going up temp wise on hills. I havnt heard the fans running for a while, not on high anyway. I ran the test and both work on low ( jumper in the diag connection ) When running it up temp wise they dont seem to go into high. ( jumper removed ) I have tested the relays and all seem fine. I have been thinking about changing the wiring so 1 fan comes on with the AC compressor, and both come on with a temp switch. I may also put in an over-ride switch to make both stay on. Any thoughts ?

A read through this might help if you haven't already found it...

But from memory both fans will only go on full when the A/C is on. I could be wrong though :)

Hello,

Thanks for the link, and no I didnt find it when looking. I used the test from the manual, but I dont really trust them a lot. ( I have found wiring mistakes before )
