you need a wiring diagram to set them up like driving lights, with a relay.
A relay detects a signal from the headlights, which then lets power go to the driving lights and turns them off when headlights are off Just buy a driving light mounting kit and will have everything you need Heres something i prepared earlier |

I Have just put the driving light wires into the high beam terminal on the connector that clips onto the bulb, works for me and is easy to do.
Is this OK? or should I relay it? |

Lol @ tuxedo club! Can i join too? HAHA!
Anyway, the lights don't really light up much other than just the front corners directly in front of the car, i was almost defected for having them wired up as per the above diagram and having them turned on. So if you do drive with the lamps on just be weary of Mr Plod, he's out to get us haha. |

the only way i could think of that is easier is if you dont want a switch, then you just run the trigger wire from the relay straight to the headlight that you want them to run off You cant just tap into the headlight wire for power its not a godd idea, you really need to run its own power wire for the driving lights, and use a relay to trigger them on and off |

Yeah they don't really do alot man, Just a wank factor:P, even though I have them ...
Best thing to do is run it on a separate relay (make up your own), For both lights (leave the Ground wire as is) Run both positive wires Together, then a wire to a switch in the cabin of the car Then from the switch to the battery (make sure you use a fuse). This way you can turn them on and off as you like (as their actually illegal to have on when your lights are on) Hope this helps - Ash

Hey bud are you talking about cornering lights as on Ghia's or xr style driving lights? I have 02 BA-XT that I fitted 03fairmont ghia cornering lights to & this is what a mate here on fordmods advised 7 worked perfectly. Fairmont ghia cornering lights are not supposed to be on all the time, they have a 16w wedge globe that need to be replaced with 6w wedge(Number plate bulbs) or they will get to hot. Then we just wired these into parker lights plug! Simple, no extra expense & easy to disconnectat rego time! The reason they are illegal is because they are lower then Aust standards allow-In NSW anyway. Hope this helps? Cheers, Dave
