Try replacing your blinker canister.
Under the dash, you'll see a big black cube looking thing marked "flasher" or something similar. Try changing that

It's a bulb. Check them all again.

yeah I'd say bulb... lack of load makes them work faster... All three right hand blinkers work? All are proper bulbs? If you install LED blinkers you need an LED flasher module...

Cheers,
Tim

try swapping the flasher in the fuse panel under the dash then... if it fails to make an improvement then it has to be a bulb... There isn't any other parts to it then the flasher and bulb... alternatively you could try swapping sides of the flasher... Make up three short male to female spade leads... It'll have wiring picture on the flasher, but I think middle pin is the common and stays the same place... and yo criss cross the other two pins... If the left side blinkers flash really fast then it is in that...

Does your park light occasionally flash too? Hard to see unless you get out and have a look. If so, exactly the same problem as me... Check for a loss connection on your lights. That's what I think it is...

if all your bulbs are in working condition then change the flasher unit in the fuse panel

just an update, this issue is on and off, some times it will do it others it wont. i cant see a pattern to it ether..it might be possessed lol, my mums excel was! the blinkers would turn on and off by them selves, even when the key wasnt in the ignition it would do it and the horn would out of the blue go off and the centeral locking would lock and unlock by it's self lol.

Do you have a broken lense or getting any water in the lights.
I've seen this cause flasher issues.

Do you have a towbar with the trailer loom cut into the rear lights? Sometimes my EB has a dodgy blinker - turns out it is the little flap which protected the female plug attached to the towbar. If I didn't close it properly, it made for an open circuit and the indicators flashed like they were on speed(all worked).

Just another option...
