Hi, I'm changing the instrument cluster in my EA wagon to an S-pac one, so I need to replace the oil pressure switch with the type used with an oil pressure gauge.
I can find plenty of the ones for XH, EF, EL and AU (part number EF9D290A) but I've read that the sender unit for the EA is different. Does anybody know the story, and maybe a part number? Cheers |

You can get them from Repco or a VDO Instruments dealer.

Thanks for that; I'll have to check them out. I tried to get an answer from VDO's online parts catalogue, but the download stops about half way through every time. I might go back to the Ford dealer at Brendale (the one that doesn't stock a fan belt for an EA) and waste some of their time!

I found it on the VDO site.
Quote: For all y'all interested, the correct sender for the oil pressure gauge (not switch) is VDO part number: 360.013. This suits XF-ED falcons. It is available at repco and burson's. I think it's about $60.00 thanks, Evan.

So there is a different sender unit for the earlier E-series cars.
Thanks Evan; great work. |
