Hi guys,

I am looking at replacing all 8 fuel injectors on my V8 Lane due to an ongoing stutter/flat spot problem. Before Ford Falcon/Fairlane parts become really scarce in years to come I am willing to find out about purchasing them, instead of cleaning them (on the car cleaning has been done and if I were to pull them out to ultrasonic clean them I might as well replace them). The engine used to be on LPG but I ripped that out! haha

eBay has nothing and I guess I don't overly trust that site.

Does anyone recommend a retailer? And what are your thoughts on replacing the injectors myself? I'm quite switched on for under the hood though unbolting the manifold is kinda of nerve racking! just to get to the left 4... The Max Ellery's Repair Manual is rubbish and even the Official Ford (2 PART) Falcon/Fairlane Repair Manual has not got instructions on how to replace them. Is anyone aware of any other better, in English instruction or has it just been pure luck?

Anyhow, I look forward to your thoughts and ideas ... (And yes this project is my last option, as mostly ever other fuel and ignition delivery part has been replaced over time due to being just being worn out!) Though I have achieved to get the fuel consumption from 18.5l to 11.3l per 100km....
