Hey guys this is my first post so sorry if it's the wrong place...

I just bought a 2004 XR6 Turbo last week and just wanted to know of any recommendations for a place to take it to get a good & thorough service in Brisbane. I also ant to get the trans (4sp auto) serviced and have an after market trans cooler fitted as well as have the diff checked.

Any recommendations on where to go or parts to get would be appreciated.

Cheers

Any mechanic shop worth their salt will go over the car very well.

Dump oil, put in new oil (not overfilling), replace filters (oil, fuel, air, cabin), check for exhaust leaks, perished mounts, oil leaks of any sort, check and replace fluids (including diff, auto, clutch), check suspension, lights (interior and exterior), grease lub points (if any), lubricate all door hinges/strikers.

There is a lot more as well.

Go to any mechanic with a good reputation, not only for customer relations, but also cleanliness.
(Do they leave finger prints on car, scratches, do they use seat covers, etc.)

That's what our shop is all about, anyway.

Harts Transmissions for the auto, and Diff Lapping for the diff. Both places are pretty good reputation wise, not sure about cleanliness etc.
