New project, MK1 Cortina 3/4 chassis with a rear clip, 4 link, tubed, caged and recess firewall.
Will be using a forged AU Falcon I6 engine with S380R turbo, Tial 60mm wastegate, in cabin water to air intercooler and C4 auto built by Dominello autos. Here are the pics, hope you like . I don't like the scoop, I was thinking of a reverse cowl instead. Ready for battery mounting and fuel cell. Rear chassis clip with 4 link and diff. Front brake kit arrived today, twin pot with 296mm rotors

That looks like fun! Used to have a Mk11 Corty drag car live near me at Peakhurst, and he'd take for a test run up the street sometimes!

Very Cool little Corty you have there!
Look forward to seeing it come to life. Looks like someone has spent a lot of time and effort getting it to where it is now.

Fitted the brake kit on the weekend to see how the convo pros will look. Replace all the bushes and rebuild the ball joints. also converted the struts to coilover. Next is fitting the engine and gearbox in to make the mounts for it. fitted tacho gauge into the standard dash and fitted the Eboost into the air vent. Here are some pics. Hope you like ...

Top choice of car! - Excellent work.
You might want to put the rotors on the correct side before you use them. A lot of people say it makes no difference, but centrifugal force in my opinion proves otherwise, water/debris will try to extract to the outside of the rotor with natural force, and your slots are trying to force things to the centre with forward motion.

Yeah I didn't look at that. I need to take the rotors off to fit the 3" studs, I will swap the rotors to the other side. I can't fit the caliper on the rear of the rotor because the balljoint will hit the caliper. It's only getting used as a drag car and power cruise so it won't see much water or debris. Thanks mate...
