simple conecting a ipod nano via an AUX cable to the stock head unit, via the hands free plug.
ive current got the headphone jack one. however the volume level is significantly lower when using it this way. im just wondering if anyone has the cable that plug into the bottom of the ipod, and if the volume is louder. im just sick of having to turn the volume up and down when switching between radio to ipod. but dont particly want to spend $100 bucks getting a cable with a amplifier inline

Id just adjust the volume settings on the ipod man. It should be just as loud, if not louder than the radio.
OR, if your ipod is already set to absolute max, then it might be the AUX volume offset on your headunit set too negative. It might also be a dodgy aux cable. Just give those 3 a go and see what happens. |

thanks for the input but ive already tried all of them.
the ipod is on max volume with sound check off. the previouse mp3 player i was using wasen't an ipod and had the same volume level as radio. its just an ipod thing that the volume is lower, even my old iphone required the stero to be cranked up.
