Wondering where the best place would be to install a UHF CB aerial on my EL wagon? I did consider using a Z bracket between the guard/bonnet but the aerial wouldn't sit corectly so now I'm looking for a new location. Anyone got any ideas?

Something like this glass mount antenna would be excellent.

They can be fine but you have to ask what you're going to use it for. Do you want the max coverage from equipment you have? There is not much gain to be had with a tiny antenna like the glass mounts..

Best place is in the centre of the roof because of the ground plane effect.
