as topic suggests, i am after new shocks and springs for my au2 xr but i am after hadling and control of the vehicle, not the height asthetics that the usual question would be. anyways, i have done a bit of research and from what i can gather, a monotube design of a large diameter is the go with a matched rate spring. in saying this, what are the better brands for handling and response ( and also a good supplier as i am finding it hard dealing with people that are heavily biased and only want to discuss what they can get in or have)??

So far i am considering bilstein 46mm monotube but i have no idea about the springs as of yet! any info on this topic would be greatly appreciated!!
