Hello guys,
Im going to get a 27mm front swaybar (whiteline, non-adjustable) put onto my Falcon AUII Forte Sedan (Non - IRS) tomorrow. I was wanting to know if this was ok by itself and shouldnt induce too much understeer? Also, if I go for the 22mm rear (whiteline, non-adjustable) as well, will this cause too much oversteer or make the car unhandleable in the wet? Esp on freeways... If i get the 22mm rear sway bar on this car, will I need mounting braces? Does anyone know what the original diameter of the AU falcon 2 forte rear sway bar was? I know i have a few questions, but any help will be great... Thanks heaps |

AU's with a live axle had a 23mm sway bar....and they are tubing, not solid like previous models, with were 22mm. A stock one from an EA was 22mm.
I have a 32mm front ( adjusted to stiffest setting ), and a 27mm rear. I also strengthened the outer sway bar link brackets on the rear, as they will crack.......*note*...added pieces are on the front of the brackets, as the bar enters the rear of the brackets. Food for thought.

i have just put a 27mm in the front of mine and a 22mm in the rear of mine and they are fine on theyre own, it got rid of heaps of the body roll you can feel in these boat like vehicles.
