hey guys
my el has been out of action for over a week now with a smart lock issue, i tried a diffrent ecu and still no diffrent, replaced the crt lmp fues and no change, any ideas of what it could be? |

bcm ? try the igntion on for 1/2 hour un till the door locks cycle are you certain its smart lock?

Can you hear the fuel pump when you switch to on? I don't know what else you've looked at but check out the starter relay and the ignition barrel. Did you undo the main engine harness behind the intake manifold at all? ensure the 10mm bolt is tight there.

it's smart lock thats immoblished the car, i've tried another bcm with no change the smart lock symbol flashed 5 times pauses and then just keeps flashing,

oh sorry, yes i have tried relearning it, multipul times with no luck

maybe your dizzy might be rooted.is it getting fuel in to the engine? pull out a spark plug and test it see if it works.or take of number one plug stick your finger in the plug and get some one to crank the car over

diagnosing cars on a forum is not easy....we have no idea what u have tried or how u have tried it...or your skill level...
you say car wont start....do u mean it cranks but dont fire? or it dont crank at all...

is the starter getting a signal....can u hear starter relay clicking...check relay and starter signal wire
given bem a tap whilst turning key to start???

saw in one of your other posts u had dash and bem out recently....could be anything now...fuse, earth, plug,,broken wire anything...

well i don't know what it was, dad rang the autolecky this morning and they've gotten the car running, doesn't look like the dash was removed, the bcm doesn't appear to have moved either so i'm not sure what it was

turns out a wire on the igniton had somehow gotten damaged
