Gentlemen,

Post is simple for those who have done it before. I am wanting to change my exterior lights to white LED's, the brighter the better. I have been looking on eBay, and was just wondering what type of globes I will need?

Headlights: ???
Parkers: ???
Rear Number Plate: ???

Thanks in advance!

Do NOT do LED headlights if you want to see!

Also do you need to purchase a whole kit in order to convert to HID headlights?

they would work. but only for a day of too untill they fail. and they aren't HIDs. unless you find a trusted dealer, dont buy headlight globes off ebay. if you want a 'whitish' look with standard halogen globes, go into your local auto store and ask them for a globe that when you look at it is white. i think they are about $70.

With the HIDs, yes, you will need a balast and the globe. that is the bare minimum. if your are going to put them in stock reflectors the make sure you get the high/low globes with an actuator. i know in a ba/bf it can work, but with a bit of effort. if you want to do it right then get projectors, and good ones. They are harder to install, can look dodgy if you dont find projectors that work well with the headlights you have (ie. you dont want to get really small ones if you have a ba). the standard HIDs will work well for you, but annoy the fck out of others.
