Hey guys,

Im obviously not the most car savvy person in the world, but im looking to either obtain or paint my interior inserts in my FG XR6 to look like this picture: (i dont know what theyre called, but theyre the parts around the ICC and on the doors, and passenger dash. In this picture their black, but in my car their silver. I want to make mine black)
Image

What paint should i be using? Or am i wasting my time even trying?

It's a "piano black" finish, VERY hard to get right, unless you're an experienced painter, you'll most likely mess it up and it'll look nasty.

So if you want to remove the parts and take them to a pro, go for it. Otherwise, source those parts (the G6E's got them in black, buy replacements)

yeah, gloss black is VERY hard to get right, it shows up any imperfection.
